Michael D. Miller

Michael D. Miller, 57, of Middlefield, OH, passed away unexpectedly Monday evening, February 23rd, 2026, at UH-Geauga Medical Center. He was born in Elyria, OH on July 11th, 1968, to the late Emanuel Miller and Okeylene (Hunt) Hopkins. Michael later married his best friend and love of his life, Kelly Majewski, on September 28th, 1993.

Michael was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many. Michael was an avid sports fan. He especially loved the Cleveland Browns, Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Duke Blue Devils Basketball Team. Michael coached various teams that his children participated in. He enjoyed visiting numerous historical landmarks and museums with his wife, Kelly. Michael, also, loved to spend time with his family, particularly his grandchildren. During the summer, he loved to ride his motorcycle and have family bonfires. He loved to watch Looney Tunes and Gilligan’s Island along with other classic movies and tv shows. 

Michael will be greatly missed by: his loving wife of 32 years; Kelly; children, Nick (Alex) Miller, Aerial (Cole) Craycraft, Andrea Miller, Nathan (Olivia) Miller, Anna Miller, Noah (Shae) Miller; grandchildren, Charlotte, Gracelyn, Everly, Theo, Owen, Carson; siblings, Diana Dalton, E. Wayne Miller, David (Heather Weatherbee) Miller, Matt (Holly) Hopkins, Kevin (Mona) Hopkins, Melinda (Wayne) Lowther, Robert (Peggy) Miller; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

He is preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Okeylene and Keith Hopkins; and father, Emanuel. 

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE HELD AT 7:30 PM, MONDAY, MARCH 2ND, 2026 AT BEST FUNERAL HOME, 15809 MADISON RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH 44062 with Pastor Dr. Jerry DeHart officiating. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 4 PM until the time of the service.
